Jenn Glynn and Joe Nishi are pleased to announce the launch of Fuel Sports, a division of Meeting Encore Ltd that will provide sourcing and consultative services to the Sports Tourism Market. The goal of Fuel Sports is to help clients drive their events' success.

“With the expanding skill set on the Meeting Encore team, it was a natural progression to create a division that targets the sports market. Some intermediaries do not have the expertise to assist in writing RFP’s or to help put together bid books for sport event organizers. Fuel Sports has experts to partner with the right destinations, secure hotels and venues to win the business.” says Jenn.

About the core team

Frank DiRocco, Regional Director
A respected leader in the Business Events Industry for over 25 years, his extensive sales and hospitality background includes working with Delta Hotels and Resorts as Director, National Sales as well as other Sales Leadership positions with Interstate Hotels and Resorts, IHG and Accor. Frank joined the Meeting Encore team in 2012.

Lori Wagner, Regional Director
After more than 22 years working in the hotel, tourism and airline industries, Lori joined the Meeting Encore team in 2018, as Regional Director. Her vast tourism experience contributes to her knowledge on destinations and the best ways to bring all partners together for the client’s best outcome.

Shelley Crawford, CSEE, Regional Director
Shelley has worked more than 29 years in the hotel, sport tourism and destination marketing industry. In 2004, she joined Tourism Toronto as a Regional Seller in the sport market and focused on customer service, building dynamic relationships and growing her knowledge of each sport to match her client’s needs with the right venues and hotels to ensure their events were successful. Shelley joined the Meeting Encore Team in January 2020.
