With over 40 years combined experience in the event management industry, Shannon Byck, CMP and David Drover are pleased to announce the launch of Intuitive Conferences + Events (IntuitiveCE), a full service meeting, conference and incentive travel planning company.

IntuitiveCE’s focus is to bring innovation and creativity to your event and program management needs. Our goal is to exceed you and your attendees’ expectations. IntuitiveCE is intended to complement the services that Meeting Encore already provides.
“Planning is intuitive to our team. These days’ planners have to do more with less. Our goal is to be an extension of our client’s team,” states Shannon.

“With the skill set on the Meeting Encore team, it was a natural progression to create a company that is able to provide full service meeting planning to meet client needs,” says David.

IntuitiveCE is excited to also have Jenn Glynn on board as Vice President, Client Engagement. Jenn is one of the Managing Partners of Meeting Encore Ltd. She is here to support Shannon and David with their new venture through sales, marketing and customer support.

About the Executive Team

Shannon has been in the business events industry for more than 15 years. To further her commitment to the industry, she studied to obtain her Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation. Her extensive meeting management experience includes Manager of Conferences and Events for Canada Health Infoway, Program Manager for Ontario Hospital Association, Conference Manager for Canadian Society of Club Managers and Conference Manager for Parr + Associates, an Association Management Firm. She is a member of PCMA and volunteered at the committee level with MPI Toronto Chapter.

David has spent 30 years in the hospitality industry, growing-up working in his parent’s restaurants from a very young age. Dave has spent the last 4 years as Director of Operations at Meeting Encore Ltd. He also worked on the team that managed the logistics for RIM’s (Research In Motion) global conferences. Prior to that, he worked for more than a decade planning over 700 events a year for Sea World Parks and Entertainment in Orlando Florida. His hands on operational experience allows him to better understand customer’s needs.

Jenn’s 25 years in the industry, including sales roles across Canada with Delta, Pan Pacific, Kimpton, Starwood and Marriott, has helped her gain the trust of her clients. She is Managing Partner with Meeting Encore. She never backs down from a challenge or the demands of her clients. Anyone who knows her truly appreciates her industry knowledge and strong relationships. Jenn believes in being an active volunteer and mentor within the industry. She sits on the Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE) International Board of Directors. She has also volunteered with FICP, MPI and many charitable organizations.
